Black swans are not common. This is only the second time we see them.
The honey buzzard is a beautiful bird!
Barn owl
We have been lucky to spot a barn owl. As it was sleeping, we came back the following evenings in hope of getting a few photos of it flying – but without luck.
But, at least we have seen one now 🙂
Western marsh harrier
The western marsh harrier has been very busy at Echinger Stausee this year. Their nest is unfortunately a bit far out in the reeds, but sometimes they fly by close enough to get a decent picture.
Today was one of those lucky days 🙂
Early bird at Isarmoos
We are up early and at Infohütte Isamoos by Wörth an der Isar.
It’s very foggy, so we do not expect much this morning…
However, the kingfisher was also an early bird and hunting just in front of the small Infohütte.

Osprey
Wow, what a day! The osprey was circling around at Echinger Stausee and we were lucky to get a few photos of it.
